The free one is only a short period of time and the subscription version is a whole year version maybe more. Also with the subscription version you get like 1 or 2 more features. You can check at http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1

If you want a paid for anti malware, use Nod32; theres nothing else like it. Is by a company called Eset, only available from them, and never free so don't be conned into downloading it from 'alternative ' sites.

If you're concerned your free anti virus isn't picking everything up, add Bitdefender. It doesn;t run in the background, you can use it to run a second scan or scan suspect files without it conflicting with your main anti virus.

(You should only use on real-time anti virus at a time; but Bitdefender 8 is passive.)

(a million) the numerous distinction between the loose version and the paid version is that the loose version would not comprise automobile-replace: you should make positive you replace the virus definitions on your own, from time to time, ideally each day. (2) in my opinion (and many forums; and many folk in those solutions will provide me a really confusing time for conserving so, yet I communicate from journey!) AVG has lengthy gone way downhill because its previous releases. you'd be extra appropriate off to pass with loose avast.

Wingman, the free version is not for a short period of time. Your URL is not to the free version, it's for the trial/fee version, the free version is at this URL:

Not a lot - AVG is a very poor AV program, if your going to pay for a AV program then get a good one like nod32.
