Well it's important, that's for sure. Isn't there something that you have, that you rather a special person to have it when you die? Or else, everyone would argue and fight over your property. My grandpa was against writing up a will, cos he thinks it's bad luck. Even when all his kids plead for him to write it, he refused and accused everyone of wishing he was dead, greedy etc. Well, after he died, all his property was left hanging and nobody could touch it. In the end, his children had to hire a lawyer, who split all his property accordingly. It was unfair because his eldest son treated him so badly when he was still alive, to the point that he refused to take my grandpa to the hospital when he was sick, and he got most of his property shares, because he was the eldest in the family. My father treated my grandpa really nice (with no other intentions), and he got the 2nd least of his property, because he's not the first born. It's too bad because my grandpa finally accepted my father in the end before he died cos he knew my dad treated him sincerely. If it wasn't for his mentality, I'm sure my dad would've gotten a better share.

To make sure that everything is taken care of so that people aren't fighting when you pass on. Or the government as well.

well yeah because what if you die who would get all of your stuff and that would be your family relatives would not fight over things if u have a wife make one together if your a single parent totally make one

first it so you will know who going to get what, in to day world, family will fight, even kill, over thing you have,an to leave a will, you are like a peace maker,,,
