No one has ever seen God the Father. Jesus is God, yes, but in the form of a Human. The Righeousness of God is so brilliant that He says we could never look at God the father and live

If you read the rest of the verse (John 1:18) you will have the answer to your question: "No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known."
Prior to the appearance of God in the flesh as Jesus, no man had seen God in the physical. But then he came in the flesh and was seen at that time - he was revealed or made know.
Once that happened, people had seen God. John goes in the book of 1 John (near the end of the New Testament) to describe how he and the other disciples had seen, heard and touched God during his earthly ministry.
Before he came in the flesh, no one had seen him. After he came in the flesh, everyone could see, hear and touch him.
When you read the whole verse, there is no contradiction or problem.

Because the Trinity is an incomprehensible nonsense. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever for the existence of God, much less 3 of Him. "There are 3 distinct Persons. The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God, yet there are not three Gods but one God." Seriously, does this make sense?
Religious people have this ridiculous confidence in matters that they neither have, nor could have, any evidence.

no one has seen Jehovah God not even Moses who only seen his back. they did see the son of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus is now sitting at the right hand of Jehovah. Jesus prayed to his Father in the heaven, not to himself. Jesus Christ was the first creation of Jehovah God. the Holy Spirit is Jehovah's active force.

of course Jesus is God. It's not having 3 gods (father, son, holy spirit) but it's all part of the trinity. the 1st part of John: In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. No one has seen God because God is a spirit. The theme of no one ever seeing God is different from Jesus being god. Jesus is God in the form of a man. He is God and also the son of God God. got it? but i think the other people who say no one has seen God ain't so true. i agree with the one... tha bible says, He who has seen Me has seen the Father... that explains it.

actually the study of scriptures say two exact opposite things. seemingly. First it says Moses saw God face to face. if thats not seeing God, or Jesus in the spirit! then i dont know what. but then again it says Moses Only saw the Back side of God as one leaving. This could be interpreted that God the Father is only Seen from the Back side, but that is speculation.
Then again it says Abraham was visited by 3 persons. ONE of them WAS GOD the FATHER. of course this was just as Sodoma and gomorah were about to be destroyed. Abraham even had his wife prepare a meal for his GUESTS, but then when you a similar story elsewhere in the bible the three visitors are declared to be Angels ONLY. So what gives with this Altered text?
Jesus later promised that those who Prove themselves will get a visitation from God and the Son and they will SUP and EAT DINNER with that person. amazingly similar to Abraham and God meeting if you ask me.
Throughout history there are many examples and testimonies of Jesus appearing to souls, most notable was Pilate! and when i heard that Pilate himself was recieved into the First church of saints the early form of christianity, i realized that christian tradition and bias has erroneously interpreted pilate as an evil man. if Pilate can see jesus or receive a vision or a visitation, there is hope for all of us.
Yes Jesus has been seen by many including me.
this can only prove one thing, Seeing Jesus is either NOT God the Father, and they are two separate Persons, or their a great big HUGE Void in Correctly translating the scriptures with an absence of the truth in many parts.
another Correction from this apparant alteration of the "so called" perfectly preserved bible, will read a verse that says: NO MAN OF SIN has/can SEE GOD.
notice the difference! Sin blocks the mercy and grace of christ and his atonement. but the atonement gives us grace and mercy and forgiveness and through sanctification Mankind can receive both Jesus and God the Father.
Oh dont forget FAITH!

Jesus was God spiritually not physically. God was in Jesus, meaning everything Jesus had said or done was contributed as if God was there. And the only person that had the privelege of seeing a form of God was Moses when he seen the burning bush where God had spoken to him. And believe it or not we all have God in us. But its up to us if we want to express it or not.

Okay no one has seen God in all His glory, Jesus the second member of The Godhead came so we can see all [as much as we can see and live] of God and what He is like and live, in Hebrews 13:8 we are told Jesus Christ has and always be forever and is INDEED God, but He vailed His glory so we can see what God is like, in John 14:9 we are told if you have seen Jesus [and we do see Him within scriptures] you have seen the Father, learn more free on line bible lessons www.itiswritten.com bible questions www.bibleinfo.com email me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

Jesus is not God the creator but He is a god in a sense that He is mighty.
Jesus is the first born of all creation and the only begotten Son of God ( Jehovah )
