You already have. I am sure more than one soldier has seen you comments. If you can speak to your parents, speak to them and let them know your feelings. Do yourself a favor and add some enjoyable things to your life. There is more to life than the news. You deserve to enjoy today.
Stop feeling sorry, you did not start this, maybe in a few years you can put on a uniform and become a soldier yourself.

If you really want to support the troops then support the Democratic Party's effort to stop Bush in his unilateral military plan.
The Democratic Party wants to protect the lives of the troops and not put them in unnecessary harms way. The Democratic Party wants to follow the advice of the Iraqi Study Group and many Generals by not increasing the troop level and beginning a slow, gradual deployment thereby forcing Maliki to push the Iraqis into taking control of the situation.

Find out if there is a local USO near you and volunteer to help. They are always filling boxes with needed items to send to the troops and other things that directly support the troops. I'm sure they would love an extra pair of hands to help out.

Wow ,what a good girl you are! If you know someone there you can send it to them directly. There is a cool site below to help get books for soldiers. It might be just the thing for you and you would probably pick books they would like better than I would!
Don't forget you can always pray for them.
Wear a yellow ribbon!
Support the republicans because while the democrats might pull them home fast ,if they get the chance. that will create a power vacuum and many more of ...our lives will be lost.

If your parents are against the war, THEY SUPPORT THE TROOPS! Write letters to your congress people and tell them to END this useless war. Research Vietnam, this is a lose lose war. How would you like to be deployed 18 months and then have to be re deployed again? All they are doing is creating misery for Iraq and it's peoples, they are wasting lives and money.
Protest the war, support the troops!

You will have a local veterans association there somewhere.
In Australia we call The R.S..L..You know the ones that do the veterans day march.Don't argue with your parents you are a good kid.Do something because they will need plenty of care when they get back.Contact those veterans associations. There are lot of Australians servicing overseas in other countries too and we remember them.YOU MIGHT THINK ABOUT THE NURSING PROFESSION LATER ON AS YOU ARE GOOD YOUNG PERSON.

The following web site is a way to show your support in your area. YOU CAN be involved...you and your friends. Pass the word to adults in your area. It costs nothing to be part of, no meetings, no dues. All you have to do is be willing to STAND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE STOOD FOR US. You don't have to be a biker or a vet. Check out the PHOTOS section. If you become a member, you can check the forums section to see what folks are doing and saying in your area and you'll be notified of each 'mission' in your area.
It's ODD that your parents are against the MILITARY.
I saw a bumper sticker once: IF YOU CAN READ, THANK A TEACHER. IF YOU CAN READ IN ENGLISH, THANK A MARINE.

If you support your parents against the war this way you're supporting the troops because it's an illegal war in Iraq.
