I am referring to the movie "The secret"/law of attraction.

God gives us everything, NOT the "universe".

The universe was created by God. We cannot say what we want and get it from the universe!

The Secret mentions that when you asked and you will received.

The Bible said ----"And I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Luke 11:5-9)

The Law of attraction explain this concept. The Law of attraction is not a religion therefore is a general concept to explain a real relationship between you and the energy out there in the universe (God, Jesus, ALA, ect. )

The word, "Universe" can be used to refer to the physical universe, or can be a way of describing God, as in: God is the Universe, the universe is God.

From what I can see, from a perspective of almost fifty years of study/prayer/meditation, the Secret is based on metaphysical principles. Every so often, someone discovers these principles, and makes a big deal of them, because the discoverer does not realize that the principles of metaphysics have always been.

These do not preclude God's existence, in fact they expand our understanding of what God actually is, as opposed to a static, objectified "person" somewhere beyond the clouds...God gives us everything because God is everything. That is, everything real, nothing unreal, for nothing unreal exists.

What balance are you talking about show me ANY evidence of god, any at all, so far there's been zero other than some nice 5000 year old myths. If there was 100% evidence for I really don't think it would change much people would still be religious or not based on their own choices.

We live in a world where everyone DIES, not one person in this planet lives except The Second member of The Godhead Jesus Christ saves that person, so the universe gives you and me nothing, and speaking of fear Psalms 111 says this: 111:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
Now the fear here is reverent fear that is to know God means what He says NOT to be fear God to be afraid of i do not watch regular tv so i don't understand your movie but i do understand a thus saith The Lord, do you want to learn more free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com bible questions www.bibleinfo.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

God and the Universe are not inseparable. It is all part of one big whole.

There are no gods. The universe doesn't "give" us anything. We're just here, a part of it.
