Well I work for Lockheed Martin on the F-22A Raptor as a Flightline Avionics Tech. Let me tell you I work with plenty of people that have worked with the major airline industries and right now it is pretty hard if you are looking at being a mechanic. If you are looking at higher end positions as in management or engineer then you have a better shot, but it is still turbulent.

You just have to be flexible and be ready to move and make changes.

Its good...and i think it evolves (though very slowly: given the permanent need for efficiency....i bet you have a great chance getting a job you love...bon chance

i,ve been an aircraft mechanicfor 35years,and these day it isn,t like the old days.its hurry,hurry, and you don,t make any money,but the airlines do.its not worth 2 years to get your a&p .please try anything else.god loves you.
