Are you talking about the anti-depressant, Bupropion (Wellbutrin?) This medication is the LEAST likely of all the ones on the market to cause weight gain and also the one LEAST likely to cause sexual side effects. Many times, Dr's. will combine Wellbutrin with another type of anti-depressant, because on it's own, many people don't fully benefit from its effects----when it's combined, many people feel a quicker response to their symptoms; also, you don't need to take as much of the weight gaining/sexual dysfunction anti-depressants, thereby reducing side effects. A newer drug, Cymbalta, seems to be a good choice because it does what the combination of Wellbutrin and another anti-depressant does. Hang in there because getting the right "mix" takes time, but will yield great rewards!!

I'm not familiar with that one. I have been a few different ones some make you gain a little weight , some you lose a little and some you just stay the same. Ask your Dr. if you can switch.

I haven't taken this drug in some time, but I actually had weight loss. I looked it up, and it seems that weight loss is more common.
