depends on how you take the question. If you mean people who hate others with no obvious reason except for they have a chip on their shoulder, then yes.If you have no reasons then hate can only mean that you have nothing better to do,thus causing you to have a personal problem which most people with that problem, instead of taking time out to change their ways, convince themselves that its down to everyone else.I am not perfect but when i have a problem that causes me to hate,i look at why,and normally end up with the same conclusion,i see a very sad person with nothing better to do,and this feeling of understanding and at times pity feels a lot better then ruining my life by keeping an ongoing cycle going that has no good outcome for anybody

Hate is a very negative emotion. It does not bother the hated one at all, but does great damage to the hater. It is like battery acid eating away at the one who hates. Therefore I think we can say either the hater loves to punish himself or holds personal hatred toward himself.
Intelligent people do not hate, they understand the consequences.

I think because they are not happy with their lives, but won't admit it to themselves. They look at what other people have achieved and are sarkastic about it. They are also lethargic, because everyone can do something to change their life and if we continue hating, we just turn into bitter old people. Also, it is a waste of energy to hate things, there is nothin constructive about it, it hurt oneself and it hurts other people. It is absolutely pointless.

that situation (guilt because of bad behavior) certainly is one cause of disharmony and hate. Feeling at a loss due to having confidence in conflicting ideas is another. Knowing your faith is wrong (that is being certain) and not knowing how it is wrong, or what to change to is a third.
