I got a book from the library called Master Your Memory by Tony Buzan, and in this book he shows you how to remember different languages. But I have no idea how to use the techniques for Japanese as the memory techniques in this book do not show you how to remember different tones in the Japanese language. For example: Abiru, this can mean 5 different things depending on which part you pronunce high and which part you pronunce low. So I was wondering how you can use these memory techniques to learn these different meanings?

Top explanation from Chris above. He remembers a lot more of it than I do. Isn't irony great!
