I have use Vista on about 250 computer at my company and it is a MESS for enterprise users. There are not a lot of driver available as of yet and not many of the software manufacturers have made Vista compatible versions of their software as of yet. Vista will be great in about a year of so but now there are too many flaws and issues that need to be addressed.

It works well enough and so far I've had a few issues, it won't play purchased songs in iTunes, and there is a DLL file from an included game that keeps being flagged for compatibility issues.
This game is part of the suite that is included in the OS.

It took a while to get the internet connection going, kept getting message that the TCP/IP was not enable even thoug it was.

For my own use I will wait till next year or so, there are certainly going to be security holes that hackers will find. It was easier to set up accounts and restrict priveleges. There's also those annoying messages that keep popping up. See the latest Apple commercials on this.

It's ACE lol I have windows vista premium home and aside from one or two niggly compatability problems its been great! it seems much more intuitive and easy to use too! most of the new peripherals i have bought have simply plug n played without even installing the software! It is inevitable that there will be the odd hiccup this is the cost of new products but on the whole i would say my experience has been very positive.

When I installed Windows Vista on my computer with the following configuration, it was slow. I think that the overall operating system has improved. The firewall has become more secure, new features have been added such as drive encryption, desktop searching, etc.

2 Intel Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz
2 GB RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
ATI Fire GL X1 Graphics 128MB
