It depends. Men have fragile egos and perhaps he would be humiliated. Certainly if the situation was out of control, if there were weapons involved, or the man was an underweight, tiny person who seemed in real danger, I would.
I have seen a man hit and kick a woman, and have not called the police, because in my opinion, she kept going up to him and slapped him. He'd hit her down to the ground, kick her and she'd get up and hit him again.
Most women are smaller and weaker than men and more women are killed and hurt by men than the other way around. This does not apply to psychopaths or nutters.
You've got a chip on your shoulder. Why don't you accept we're all people and that every situation is different?

not everyone in america is sexist, or stupid. men are physically stronger than women, meaning more damage. thats why its a bigger deal if a man hits a woman than a woman hitting a man.

to answer your question, i would call the police if i saw anyone being abusive to someone else, man or woman.

i'd imagine about it. yet from time to time Police do no longer pick to get keen about kin disputes. truly some circumstances the spouse gained't press prices i'd hate to make sure a lady or a baby get abused by a discern . in case you do call it in then the acquaintances in question will locate out it became you and this can reason you to have a warfare of words with the abuser. I thinks from time to time judgements in life are a double edged sword

Well, Allan, if you were getting hit, I probably would help the lucky girl, so NO. I wouldn't for most men. It's akin to all those people who walked by a beaten and bloody woman in NY and didn't help. Actually, I've read about more than one female who was ignored. So, no, but if the man was old or crippled, I would, but most men can defend themselves. Gee, come to think of it, no one came to my rescue. Sorry you're on your own.

I would because there is wife abuse just as there is Husband abuse. Some men are raise not to hit women and he may be a shame to tell. But I am not she need help just as man does that hit a woman.

First, is it necessary to be insulting? Of course I would call the police, violence is not the answer to anything, I don't care what provokes it from anyone. Women have the ability to be just as abusive as men do, we just don't hear about it as much.
