Hi I bought the samsung lcd tv- le40n73BD yesterday Saturday although I am no expert the sound seems brilliant to me. The only thing I would say is that a 40 inch screen is taking some getting used to and I am finding that it is better to view from a distance than close up, overall though I am well pleased with it.
Regards Mic

I spent months researching and deciding with flat screen was best and this is what found out.
Plasma screens are best for 50 inches and over.
LCDs are best for below 50 inches.
As for specific makes and models this is what I found.
LG make most of the screens for a majority of the manufacturers and then they add the rest of the components to complete the set.
The exception to this is Panasonic and (if memory serves me correct) Sony as well as LG themselves.
Also from what I found out LG, Panasonic and Sony are the ones to consider.
Personally I prefer Sony products, But I opted for a LG as they are reasonably priced and I did not see that the price difference actually warranted it, as they are quite equally matched on quality.
I have had my TV for about 3 months now and have experienced No problems with picture quality or sound.
I am very pleased with my final decision and the months of research was all worth it.
But at the end of the day it is all down to personal choice.
I hope this was of some use to you.

I just purchased a 52" JVC DLP TV a couple of months ago, and it is Da Bomb. It has 7 interfaces in the back for different accessories such as a Digital camera, DVD, VCR, COMPUTER, and whatever else you want to hook up. Samsung IS a great Name of Quality Products that has been around for years, but it is going to have to be your preference of what you want. I would suggest looking up the TV on the Samsung Web Site and doing some research on it, OR go to a store that sells them and check it out there.
