Hi!!!

Just let him know, clear, stern and very serious. Use a direct tone of voice, that you feel for him, just a friendship, and that you want him to be clear on that. Ask him if he would like 2 stay friends with you, wait and pay close attention, to his reaction!!

Don't give him much explanations, as if you give him an explanation, that will give him the chance to try to convinced you.

You should tell him that even though you like him as a friend, you can't think of him as other than that, just a friend. also you should add, that you should appreciate for him to respect, your feelings, the same way he would like anybody else to respect his.

Love can't be force on to someone, and that you wish him the best. Then when everything is said and done, and after paying close attention to his reaction, if you feel he is genuinely ok, tell him that you are late for something, or that you need to do something important.

After this if he invites you, some where, i would advise you not to go, unless there is more company, to go with you, like some of "your friends". Try to avoid spend time with him specailly alone.

For some reason, your question makes me think that you don't expect a good reaction from him. Probably, you find him some how posesive, or you don't trust him. Either way be careful, but you are entitle, to express yourself, and if what I'm sensing from you is true, then you need to be very clear and DO NOT give him, a mix message!!!

Also if you feel you could be in any danger, you should tell someone how you trust about this situation. One can never be to careful now a days!!!

GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

A.Z.

Tell them you love them but your not in love with them, Let them know that you would like to stay friends and you will always be there for them.
Actions speak louder than words, after you talk to them Waite two or three days and then ask them if they want to go to the movies or something just as friends doing something together, so they know you mean you want to stay friends without hard feelings.

Jst tell him you dont think that your relationship is best suited to dating. Say that it is more suited for friendship. Be honest but dont b hurtful and mean. Tell him that you wld really like to stay friends with him as you really value both him and his friendship, But also say that if you cant or doesnt want to remain friends you understand. Hope this helps and gud luck

did he ask u if u like him?

just say that you treasure and value his friendship alot however you don't really fancy him in that way.
i think the best way is to be honest and open about it.
if he wants to tell u more just listen to him and smile and just tell him what you feel.

honesty is the best and people can tell if u are or not.

Just tell him what you wrote. It is the worst thing in the world when women try to lay it down softly.. it only makes it worse.. like you are just toying with us. Just be upfront and done with it.

"You're not my type."
He will probably ask why...you can say, "I don't feel the connection I need in a serious relationship."
After that statement say, "I do wish to remain good friends."

No matter how he feels....the truth is best.
He'd really be hurt if you strung him along, in a false relationship.

I always found that blunt was best.

What is it in you that fears being blunt?

Is he violent??

If you don't see him regularly and can't get yourself to be blunt, then do something outrageous. Gross him out or tell him you belong to a weird lesbian cult.

"Please understand that I want to stay friends and i do like you but i dont like you like you...." It worked for a friend of mine who was in love with me...we got over it SSSSLLLLOWWWWLY but surely our friendship is back to normal...not to mention the occasional awkward silence and deep stares...
