What gift can I get for a female teacher?
I want it to be unique.
She has been very helpful to me.
Not sure if it will make much difference but I am male.

Flowers, chocolate or a nice bottle of wine will always be appreciated. Make sure a hand written not accompanies it.

A student once gave me a nice mug and a desk-tidy thing. The mug was lovely, and meant I could use it in the staff room every day, instead of the cheap and nasty school mugs, and the desk-tidy thing was really useful (and pink, which the student had clearly noticed that I loved) and sat on my desk at school where the student who gave it to me could see that it was being useful every day. She'd put things in it too - some pens and pencils and paper clips and a rubber and ruler - all in pink.

Edit: I have to say, I don't really recommend flowers or perfume, as they are the sort of gift that is given romantically, and may be misconstrued (either by other students, the teacher, or her colleagues). Chocolates are good, but many students give chocolates at the end of the year, and they are consumed so quickly - they won't be "special" and they won't be a lasting memory of you.

I thought my mug and desk tidy thing were a really nice gift - I kept them far longer than any other gift I had from students (I've had wine, chocolates, teddy bears, that sort of thing) and I liked that even when the student came back three years later, she could see I was still using them. (Sadly, someone stole my desk tidy, and the mug broke when I was packing to leave the school.)

I agree with the idea that perfume and things of that nature are a bit too romantic.
I did like the idea of a nice desk set, mug, or other things that can be used daily is quite the ticket.
Add a note from your heart, and that will do nicely.
My mum worked with developmentally challenged young people (14-21). The gifts cherished the most were those that she could use and remember along the way.

I taught a course on card dealing in our casino, and I received a few gifts from some of the students.

My favorite was a coffee mug that said "World's Best Teacher" on it. I treasured that mug.

Some places, like graphic design shops, can even make a mug for you. Maybe even add her name and her picture on it.

Don't go too crazy now, you don't her to think you are a student stalker!

For something really thoughtful, what about taking a really cool black and white photo of the whole class and getting it framed, perhaps you could organise the whole class to sign a thank you card to go with it

one among my scholars gave me a present at present. Our community movie tutor has a deal that on Tuesday nighttime, you get loose popcorn in case you convey your own bowl. He were given me a large plastic bowl and filled it with packing containers of sweet-M&M's, Whoppers, etc. (He said i ought to smuggle them into the flicks in my handbag.) i imagine maximum instructors would like both foodstuff products (chocolate is fantastically usual) or present playing cards. you're proper that we do not favor extra mugs or different "instructor" presents. in spite of everything, what are we going to do with a large pink timber apple? if you're in search of for the appropriate present, do not imagine of your instructor a lot as a instructor and picture of them as someone. did you comprehend some thing they're interested in?

How about a nice card saying thanks. That always is nice.
Also perhaps a good book you think she will enjoy or maybe a CD of music if you can think of a band she will like.
Also a small cake is very tasty and delicious.
