I think you may be right. I have spoken with all sorts of people of many different faiths. We all have our saints and we all have our hypocrites. In most cases I have thought that we were really teaching the same things in different ways. I know what I know. I do not feel it is necessary for me to say another person knows less about God or is less spiritual unless they are twisting the Gospel message (for example using it to attack gays or other faiths) On the other hand, it would be insincere for me to convert to another faith. I was born Christian. It is inevitable that when I read holy books from other faiths that I will look at them from my original Judeo-Christian reference point. Therefore I don't quite understand that faith completely on its own merits. In the end it is all quite simple anyway. God is love. And you correct there are not many faiths that disagree with that.

Many Religions, ONE Faith

There are many religions (as an example - Gal.1:13 below, the Jews’ religion), but one faith (Eph.4:5 below).

Eph.4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

When we are baptized into Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit we BECOME a “new creature” (2 Cor.5:17, Gal.6:15 below). We become, individually, as well as collectively, the living body of Christ (Col.1:24 below). We become the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 below, 1 Cor.1:2, 1 Cor.15:9, Gal.1:13), the one faith (Eph.4:5 above).

2 Cor.5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he IS a new creature (Gal.6:15 below): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal.6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (2 Cor.5:17 above).

Col.1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body's sake, which IS the church (1 Cor.10:32, Gal. I:13, 1 Cor.1:2).

1 Cor.10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God (Eph.2:16 below).

Eph.2:16 And that he might reconcile BOTH (Jews and Gentiles - 1 Cor.10:32 above) unto God in one body (the church of God - 1 Cor.10:32 above) by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Gal.1:13 For ye have heard of my (Paul's) conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 above), and wasted it.

Any religion that teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, that we must repent and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior and walk with Him is acceptable to me. If they don't then the bible says that they are a false religion and I stay clear of them.

Oh, and I want to add that they can't throw lies in with the truth like some religions do.

I don't think it's Christianity that real matter - it a relationship with God through his son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

So no religion will satisfy any thirsty mind, soul or spirit, but faith in the birth, death and risen son of the living God.

Jesus is the only one who was resurrected by the Father....all other prophets are still in the grave. If the resurrection was not true, the Jews and Romans would of paraded his body throughout the streets to prove that he was still dead....they didn't do that because they couldn't.......He was seen by hundreds AFTER his Crucifixion, documented not only by the bible but of historians of the time.

every other religion, you have to do the work to earn your way to Heaven. Christianity: God came and did the work to restore our relationship with Him, by paying for our sins on the Cross, best yet, He did not stay there, He destroyed death' power over us, we know He is alive and will live with Him forever. Free gift of grace.

I chose Christianity because I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He died on the cross for my sins. It's only through Him that we are saved.
