For one you'd enter the marriage with no experience whatsoever. Two,you could die tomorrow and die a virgin.Three, the guy you eventually give it up to can end up cheating on you after you gave him something of such importance to you.Four, would you buy a car before you test drive it?What's with all the biblethumpers and their anti-fornication attitude? They don't know what they're missing by doing in with one person their whole life.Depressing really.

Here is on line of thought. You wait until marriage, so you only have sex with one person, following me so far? You will never compare your spouse to some one else. If your spouse is bad in bed you wouldn’t know, you wouldn’t compare them to this great person that rocked your world when you were younger. So let’s say you are a virgin, and your new spouse is virgin… you get to learn, explore and experience everything together! This would defiantly strengthen your marriage and your emotional/physical connection, not to mention you would never have to worry about Sexually Transmitted Diseases, or have to use a condom to prevent STDs!!! I have a friend who is 23 and has not had sex yet, we are deployed to Iraq, the rest of us are going crazy from not getting sex, but he isn’t having that problem… because he doesn’t know what he is missing. Lucky him!

There is no justification mate just fornication .
Just because these so called religious freaks who live in monastery's and nuns have this great idea that sex before marriage is not good have lost me in thought .
1- they will never marry so the nuns get Banjo lessons to loosen the fingers and the monks turn to farming and feed the chickens so they are then able to use that motion in the shower.
2- they are religious sheep who need to obey a rule that has no meaning due to the fact that this planet would have died out years ago if we did not fornicate without marriage .
3- Cromagnum man (cavemen) knew nothing of marriage yet they some how managed to populate the world and survive. until Mother Superior came along and had a great idea to call it a sin .
Religion is a sad leader to those who need guidence when there brains stop working and need to be re-programmed by Benny Hinn and his Merry Men of Friar Tucks.

I willl assume that you have not found an answer to this question either, and so I will lend my agreeance.
There were 'laws' in antiquity - remember, back then, it was nothing to smash your newborn child upon a rock in order to appease a 'God'.
Don;t even look for justifications or legal arguments for the way you feel. You are 'right on'.
What others do doesn't have to be depressing to you. Enjoy your life, and be aware that, for a time, you and I will bear the burden of being 'rebels'

Ok firstly I totally agree with you. I married a moderate catholic and we were very happy for 10 years then he got mad into religion and prayergroups etc. Needless to say I am happily Separated now and think Phew! what a lucky escape. There is obviously much more bible thumping to this story so just a brief synopsis.

Well, first of all, religion, but what possible justification is there that a God exists and that a certain scripture is his law? That's that. I believe everybody has a right to religion, if it makes them depressed and sexually frustrated - it's their choice.

Here's justification though - The person doesn't ever want sex.

For one, it means your family was so deluded, they thought they'd be doing you a favor by brainwashing you into believing that you'd have a better grasp of reality if they indoctrinated you with some warped idea of "Christian ethics" to carry you through life in 21st century civilized society. Secondly, if you carried those beliefs into your adult life, it usually means you have gained no social skills viable enough for you to actually convince somebody they'd like to have that type of encounter with you...that makes you a loser!

i wish i would have(haha). naw but i would encourage my nieces and any young girl to wait. mistakes happen, if you get pregnant there are a lot of teen mothers today taking care of baby by themself, at least if anything happens if you wait until marriage you have a better chance of working through it before calling it quits

Simply because it is THE ONE PRICELESS GIFT that ONLY YOU CAN GIVE to your husband on your wedding night !

As for the other arguments that you raised against it:
Firstly you do not have to sleep around JUST to gain experience - believe you me it comes very naturally, once you put your mind to it. Besides it is so much more rewarding to learn together with someone that you intend to spend the rest of your life with
( unless of course, with all the negative attitude that you have displayed, you have ALREADY DECIDED, that you marriage is going to be one of MANY ! )

Secondly how do you know that you could die tomorrow ? It could also be at the age of 90 in the arms of your beloved husband !

Thirdly, once again you have made up your mind that the person you give it up to, "WILL END UP CHEATING" on you. It would ONLY be because you will give him cause to cheat !

And lastly, I just hope that you do not END UP being the car that everyone ONLY takes out to test-drive - BUT NEVER BUYS !
