If your body language is supposedly linked to your emotions...?

and is usually done subconsciously which gives away what you're truly feeling, then what does it mean when the opposite sex imitates your body language?

Your body language is controlled by a part of the brain called the 'limbic system', and it is the 'Master Control' of the emotions, involunary body movements and sounds. (scream/fear whatever/sex, laughter, etc.)

Although you can choose to make certain movements, of course, a lot of the time how you move just sort of happens without you thinking about it. The brain and body talk to each other all the time, and when you like someone, or they like you, even if it is only on a subliminal level, it is reflected in body language. It is thought that 80% - 90% of all comunication is non- verbal.

Imitating another's body language is an indication that the mind, on an instinctive level, likes that other person. There is little point in trying to disguise it, there are parts of you that you are not in quite as much control as you think! The body, unlike the mouth, does not lie.

Everyone is familiar with the arms folded across the chest look ~ a classic unreceptive, or keep out sign.

So..... If he/she imitates your body language they LIKE you. How much is for you to find out.......

body language is hard to hide - if u can read it u are pretty good then

i think if the opp sex is imitating your body language subconsiously it appears that she is 'accepting' u.
mannerisms that are adopted from someone else could mean that the person either like u or is responding to u
