when i log on PC some program windows open automatically. how can prevent it without uninstalling the programs............

go to start.. RUN then type in msconfig.. and disable the progs you dont wanna run on start up... second thing is you may have spyware.. If so get yerself an anti spyware/malware prog.. tons of em out there... you can get em from (see below)

First find which program are, then open the program and from their menus ask them not autostart. Also goto start - programs- statUp and remove from the list the ones u dont want to start automatically or from start-run- type msconfig-goto start up and remove the tick from the unwanted programs. Go to START - PROGRAMS - STARTUP and right-click whatever shows up in there and select DELETE. These are the programs that are set to launch when your computers boots. 99% of the time you don't need any of these programs to startup without your starting them up yourself when needed. Many programs, such as Adobe, will automatically make this happen when you originally load the software without your knowledge.

write msconfig
select startup
deselect the programs u donot want to
startup when u logon
restart the pc

u dint mention the os u r using..
nyways ii'll tell for xp..
open configuration by typing msconfig in run command.
there u'll hav a tab called startup..
select that n uncheck unwanted items..
but b careful in doin that..
bcoz if u uncheck some items ur system mite not work..
so only if u r sure about that item...pl uncheck it..

uncheck the box of the programs
you don't want to open at start up.
They normally appear at the Taskbar
when you start your computer. .
