Adelaide water is chlorinated and unpalatable as is; but if you get two buckets full, and leave them to stand for at least 6, and preferably 24 - 48 hrs, to allow the chlorine to dissipate into the atmosphere, it tastes much better, almost as good as Darwin water. As soon as one bucket is empty, fill it and use the other. Cover with a lid, or clean tea towel, or similar, to exclude insects and dust. For the first day, drink supermarket cask water, then a 50/50 blend, and you won't even notice. A water filter is a good idea, but the filters need replacing regularly, at a cost.

I agree with Ambini. Bottled water is weird... I like water in general. If you're tired of it, eat/suck on ice. It actually tastes a little different!

Fresh natural water is not tasteless, it has a sweet, soft taste to it and this you will only find it at its natural source ie a stream. But otherwise no, cant stand it.

Yes, especially since we got a frig that allows us to get water from the door of it. It makes me want to drink more water doing it that way.
