Friends! I have two admissions with full financial aid for PhD in Mechanical Engineering. One from McGill University in Canada which has a world ranking around 20 and a UC-Riverside admission which has a ranking about 80(IN US!!! not in the world).

I would be so thankful if you guide me to tell me which one you think is better for me to go??? Every aspect you think.

McGill is known as Canada's party University but still academically strong...they even did a playboy spread. You will love Quebec, the culture the diversity is amazing. Also Canada is so safe and clean and you may even pick up another language while living in Quebec.

Well, we have a ton of universities in the US, so 80 isn't horrible, and the UC system generally is good, although UC Berkeley and UCLA are the better known campusses.

I wouldn't know what to tell you. What part of Canada is McGill in? Maybe you should pick by location.
