Put spoons in the freezer for at least a half hour then place them over your eyes. The cold compress should reduce the puffiness right away.

Also, if you have either cucumber slices or tea bags on hand, either are good to place over eyes. (Wet the tea bags in cold water beforehand)

Use Cucumber slices over your eyes, place a slice of cucumber over each eye, lay down somewhere comfortable and just rest for about an hour, your eyes should be refreshed and the puffiness should disappear in no time. Good Luck !

Laying fresh cucumber slices over your eyes for 10-15 minutes really does help. A cool mask over the eyes twice a day also helps, and I've also found that a very light moisturizer for sensitive skin, applied around the eyes at bedtime, helps.

I suffer the same malady and I've tried all sorts, but I'm allergic to most things that help others, so when I tried aloe vera, that just made it worse, so does cucumber, tea bags and all the other things people recommend. The best thing I found for it is to have a antihistamine before bed. They help me with my other problems too, like itching and excema. I donl't know if you can get eumovate without a prescription, but I use that too when they are particularlly sore, very sparingly and rarely as it is prescribed for my itchy ears.

If you go to cosmetic counters, they have specially designed creams and gels containing caffeine which will do the trick, otherwise, get some moist teabags and lay with them underneath your eyes for around ten minutes- I've heard that that works.

I get puffy eyes too and I use Clinique's "All About Eyes" cream morning and night- it really does work wonders.

Try eye repair gel from L'Bri Pure n' Natural. It contains aloe as well as cucumer and coneflower extract, which works great for puffiness and dark circles. Check it out at suenelson.lbri.com.
