It matters how much red meat you are eating.

It has now been proved that over eating red meat is the main cause of bowel cancer. Therefore if you are a heavy red meat eater the blood you are vomitting could be a sign of cancer of the bowel.

Try eating a diet rich in fruit, vegetable and fish. Japanese people do this and they have the highest life expectancy of anyone in the world.

Red meat is bad for you!

I'm guessing you don't eat it that often perhaps?

If it was pretty soon after I think you are fine. If you have something against red meat in your head you may have made yourself sick.

If it was a bit longer after there is always the possibility of E. Coli. In a healthy adult this could be not fun, but likely not really anything to be too worried about. If you are young, or old, or sick in some other way this could present a larger risk.

Amazing.... It isn't from E.Coli, which is present in human intestines naturally, it isn't a bowel problem that causes it since chyme won't come back thru the duodenum, if it's bright red and continuous it's possibly arterial and should be seen.
