take things too seriously? One of my favorite things to do is ask an esoteric, facetious question. It's very amusing to read the serious answers.

I always answer questions seriously. That's what this forum is for. If the question is too silly, I don't answer.

However, my answer may help someone who is thinking more seriously about a point, whether you are serious or not.

Personally, I don't see why people would get that much of a kick out of asking stupid questions. Some people are easily amused, I suppose.

alot of those answerers definitely had their tongue in their cheek, but I suppose you derive a sense of evil glee when you go about questioning like that. So....was this a serious question, an esoteric or facetious question?

Yes I agree with you,we need to lighten up a bit,although it can be frustrating when you ask a serious question only to get wacky and daft opinions instead.
