I had this taxi driver today go hysterical when I mentioned Jesus to him. He yelled at me, and threatend to take me to a police station. The police would have laughed at him. As soon as he droped me of at my mothers house he went nuts. He saw these people walking down the street and he yelled "Get this lady out of my taxi, because she was talking about the Lord Jesus" He threatened to hit me. I stood there saying go on then, because if he did I had witnesses around and would have gone straight to the police. My mother said that Satan is trying to make my life misserable, and that this man has already got his fate sealed. I was so angry I told him I was going to report him to the taxi company to make sure he did not drive another taxi again. I told my mother that he was not a child of God, but a child of the devil. He was in the head. That does not give atheists a good name.My mother said let God handle it. As God said "vengence is mine said the Lord, I will repay" I mean you would

think this unGodly nation Australia is China or Russia, or some Arab Nation. More and more athiests are becoming more rude. It is tempting to put them back in their box where they belong, and yet at the same time you do not want to lower yourself down to the ground where they are, becasue you would not want to crawl that low. Christians what would you do, and CHRISTIANS ONLY! If you are not a Christians I may not read your comment as it would be rude anyway. And if you are rude that just shows how low you are.

After reading your other questions and answers, I am quite sure you are not telling the whole truth. I'm sure that when you found out he was a unbeliever , you probably came unglued on him condemning him to hell. You have a way of turning people away from God instead of to God. You say the wrong thing and only tell half truths.

Do you always believe everything your Mother says or tells you. It is high time you cut that umbilical cord. Use your own brain and study the truth of the bible. It is not your place to tell anyone that they are going to what you think is hell. You sweetie are not the judge.

May God be with you.

You're not capable of behaving yourself in public, and you need to stop harassing people.

A brief look at your other questions reveals that you have some serious mental problems and a history of this kind of misbehavior. You can claim that you didn't provoke this taxi driver, but since this kind of thing seems to happen wherever you go, it's pretty obvious that you're the problem. You can make up stuff to argue your case, but it's blindingly clear that you're just inventing these stories, lying as much as you think that you need to in order to make your sick little point.

And your "put them in a box where they belong" comment is a threat. You also threatened the taxi driver, and I believe that you have clearly demonstrated that you are dangerously mentally ill.

I have a hard time believing your story and I am sorry but I am not a Christian.I am a spiritualist. But I think your story is one based on an attempt at stereotyping Atheists by saying that Atheists are vile people who spit on your beliefs every chance they get.If he was truly a person who was offended to the point of saying such things he would have asked you to get out of his cab and he would have had the legal right to ask you to leave because he has the right to refuse any fare for any reason or no reason at all.So, I am sorry but I believe that this post is nothing more then an attempt at rallying hate for people who don't believe as you.

The poor driver was probably a Muslim as many of them are in Australia & the last thing he needs to hear is ramblings about Jesus from the back seat.

People tend to get offended when others preach to them. When will you learn to back off?

It would have been interesting to see what the Cops said about the whole fiasco!!!!!

I am a Christian and i wonder in what context you spoke of Jesus to this guy. Yes, it is our responsibility to speak the Gospel when given the opportunity, but claiming that this guy is a child of the devil and declaring God's vengeance on him??? God doesnt desire him punished, He desires him saved! Remember the bible also says to forgive others as the father has forgiven us. We are not to wish punishment and damnation on those who oppose us but to 'do good to those who hate you and bless those who persecute you'
I do find athiests are sometimes rude especially on here but that is their problem not ours. We just need to pray that God will open their eyes.

Jesus did his share of reviling yet you does not locate him in the village sq. with a protest sign. He replaced right into a soft instructor to the undemanding guy. The reviling replaced into for those in authority. (I confess that I in simple terms examine that from different commenters). He referred to people as sheep or goats. He under no circumstances referred to as people 'heretics' or 'rebels'. He enable people be sure for themselves which one they have been in each and every representation. And yet another element, it could have been silly for him to be a popularity-caller by using fact he himself replaced into an merchandise of scorn for searching for reform and not following known practices as illustrated in the solid Samaritan delusion. it quite is unhappy that some Christians think of that it is an effective style of preaching. It frequently leads people to 'back away' much extra. some church homes invite non-church goers to share a turkey dinner and then point out that perhaps you're a insurrection in case you do not attend their church and that they ask your self why their attendance under no circumstances grows. in simple terms by using fact a individual can quote scripture and sound like they understand what they are speaking approximately, it nevertheless does not cause them to extra useful than anybody else.

Leanne, why were you talking about Jesus to the cab driver? Thats none of his business. You talk about the weather, new movies, and maybe the cool new game you bought for your PsP3 but you DON'T talk about something as personal as religion with a cab driver unless HE brought it up.

Its impolite to bring it up yourself because thats a very personal topic of conversation that most people aren't comfortable having with anyone but their own family and personal close friends (and maybe not even then).

You really need to back off of other people. YOU may find Jesus to be a regular topic of conversation but most other people don't.

In this case, you're the one in the wrong because you shouldn't have mentioned it in the first place.

You did not deserve to be treated like that by the taxi driver, but not trying to be the rude atheist I am, you brought that upon yourself by even mentioning religion.

You should not typecast everyone into one cluster. If anything, you are the one being rude to me, and I am offended by the fact that you've never met me and you immedately assume that because I'm atheist that I act a certain way. That's like saying African Americans always love fried chicken.

On here: yes

But in person I have met many good people who held different views, and in person they are able to see I don't want to insult each other I like the free-exchange of ideas. The way I figure it, if you want to try to "convert" someone, you have to give them a chance to convert you too. Or sometimes you can just freely exchange ideas, without trying to convert each other, just to get a better idea of what each other believes.
