I just got the camera, and using all the bottons I couldn't make it show the pic, befor taking the picture, on the LCD display.

hi ... i copied my answer to a similar Q. ...read it:

u have a DSLR camera ..... in this professional type of cameras there's no live preview on the lcd ((i mean u wont be able to c a view of what u want to shoot before shooting))....SO...what's the purpose of the lcd????
it's here for displaying ur setting ((coz u have to check alot of setting b4 shooting))..and to review ur photos after shooting ..... i think u have to check this link:

You cannont , it defeats the purpose of having a DSLR ,
By their nature SLRs cannot have a live preview on the LCD .
Only the olympus one has this function .
Once you get used to the viewfinder it is far better than LCD

Canon Rebel DSLR's 350/400 cannot do live preview.

Olympus E330
Fuji S3
Canon EOS 1ds Mk III (new)

can do live preview, but these are the only ones.

Hahaha, you got kind of a pro camera. Pro cameras do not have fancy functions like point-and-shoot cameras.

Enjoy your new equipment.
