are looks important to most people? or is it whats inside what counts ?

For me i wld say that what is on the inside is more important because you can be the hottest guy on earth but still be really self-centered and shallow. Although a physical attraction plays a part its not the most important thing. Looks will eventually fade but a good personality will always last. And who wants a guy or girl who is more into themselves than you are into them?

I truly believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone has the same taste when it comes to people's looks. Some people like what other people hate. It's what you like that counts. As long as you like the person then it doesn't matter what others think.

We all must admit that when we first meet someone we're first attracted to their appearance. Something there must spark our interest and we all have different opinions in whats attractive to ourselves. I have met many individuals that were extremely attractive to myself and after getting to know them, their personalities were "less than attractive" which is a total turn off. On the other hand, I have met people that were average in appearance that had beaming & witty personalities which in turn made them more attractive to me. So to answer your question, I think yes...looks are important to people at that first interaction, but deep down you're always hoping that a charming personality is there to accompany it..........

what on the inside! who wud want to spend the rest of their life with a guy whos only superficial. sum ppl just want a guy for show but i hope most ppl see inside and realise the connection and their personality is far more important.
for ppl who arent so good looking the person who falls in love with them will see far past that and only see their inner beauty for show. x

Looks are definitely important for meeting and having chemistry with someone. We don't look at people and say "oh wow, he has such a great personality", I personally believe looks are vital to attracting a relationship then follows personality and humour etc....
