So many places to visit in Perth, Visit www.western australian tourist dept. Travel.... if you type in ,,,Transperth w.a. you will get a full list of timetables for all points North South East and West of the city
Apartments are very very expensive and possibly you cant get one for only 1 week. Perhaps a backpackers hostel or a travellers motel would be the way to go for you.

Harbourtown?? how fast can you shop lol its really a good place toshop. not as cheap as i think it should be though.

Have the best time in Perth and please stay out of a place called NORTHBRIDGE at night, it is dangerous tooo many idiots who attack people no reason needed. I am ashamed to have to warn you but thats the reality these days im sorry.

Bye Have fun and stay safe

better to live or rent a place in the city where you're closer to the shopping centres and many places to go to. accessible to rides, shoppin centres and other things.
harbour town is good,i've gotten lots of cheap clothes there last christmas but there are also other places to go to aside from it.you can visit harbour town in a day only.

and for bus and train route, check http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/ it's very helpful for us.
