Do you know the name of the file that is missing? Did the program state in the error message what the name was?

It could be that the missing file is a vb runtime, a dll file or some other resourse file not include in the install package for handybits.

If you know the file name then you may be able to get a copy of the missing file from the internet (virus check first) or from another computer you have access to.

If you know the name of the file please post it on answers and I will try and help further.

Handybits does have a support page, the link is:

Good luck.

File encryption is a very reliable and secure data protection tool. Encryption transfers our files and data into encrypted/cipher text and this secures it from any unauthorized user. Try the encryption software that are fast, user friendly and secure like AxCrypt or Data Protecto.

No chance of getting the solution on here. You need to email handybits support people if they have any, but as it is freeware there probably not any support.

The only solution that I can think is to run a system restore back to a point before the problem appeared. (presuming you have XP)

Good Luck
