If you turn down the date and stay with your boyfriend, will you be thinking about this other guy? If the answer is yes, then break up with your boyfriend. Don't risk succumbing to a temptation which will eventually lead you to cheat on your boyfriend. A casual attraction to someone else is not a big deal if you can forget about it in a day or two. But if the guy is constantly on your mind, don't do that to your boyfriend. Even if nothing happens with the other guy, you should only be commited to a person if he is the only one you want. If he isn't the only one you want, there is something he is not giving you in the relationship that you need. Don't prolong it because it will hurt him more if you end up cheating on him. On the other hand, if you really love your boyfriend, and this other guy is just something you can forget about, stick with your man.
And in response to Dogmando, it's true that people can only speak from their own experiences, but I have never cheated on a boyfriend, or been attracted to anyone else while I was commited. The advice I am giving you is just plain common sense in my opinion.

Just out of a 6 year relationship, and had similliar experiences, but did not go out with the guy out of respect for my boyfriend(would you like it if the tables were turned?)..We broke up later on anyway, but I do feel good about myself that I did not cheat on him or sacrifice my own integrity in a relationship.I grew from this experience and later did'nt think the"new" guy was all that wonderful after the "new" part rubbed off.Relationships take commitment and w/out it,they have no value(especially ones started on unfair grounds, like the one you're considering.)Think again, and be fair to your current beau...If not for him,for yourself...

how long has you been with your bf? and do u really love your bf? or just feeling bored and sometimes feel like lazy to dine out with your bf? if all the above answer is yes then yup you should date the guy who makes you nervous and shy all over and more importantly your heart beats wildly whenever he's around...

You can't ask strangers on Yahoo a question like this. You're the only one who knows how you really feel. Do what will make you happy.

That's something for you to decide. It's Okay to turn to someone else for help, but most of their advice comes from THEIR experience, not your own. Remember, what works for them may not work for you. Good luck!
