I have been experiencing sleepless nights over the last 2 months. Everyday I go to bed around 12:00 – 12:30am and I wake up at 7:15am for work.
My situation, which occurs twice a week, is that I fall asleep around 12:15am. After another 10 minutes I wake up again. Then it takes me another 10 minutes to go back to sleep. I spend the rest of the night going through the same thing. Every 10 minutes I wake up then take another 10 minutes to sleep. When I wake up, I feel so hot as if my feet are on fire, but without any sweat. I try changing my cloths into lighter ones, I try drinking a cup of milk, and I even wash my feet with cold water, but nothing works. This really drives my nerves so I leave bed by 2:30am although I feel so tired and in need to sleep. Usually, when this happens I stay awake until 6:00am, which leaves me only an hour to sleep before work.
Now, I need to know why is this happening to me? What is it? And how can I prevent it from happening again and again?

I have nasal allergy and the only medication I am using for that is Rhinocort Aqua 64 spray. I've been using it for the last 5 years. However, I always wake up in the morning with a stuffed nose.
I am also on Regaine 2% as a treatment for hair loss.
Those are the only 2 drugs I'm on.

There is a TV on the left side of my bed. It is there since 10 years.

You may be experiencing sleep apnea. This means that a person stops breathing for a period of time. It could be that when you wake up after 10 minutes it is your body's way of starting to breathe again. Some people experience this many times per night and it can really tire you out since you're not getting good restful sleep. Do you snore? This is also a sign of sleep apnea. You should see your doctor.

Could be teething, colic, or maybe he or she is sleeping too much during the day. Get on a schedule fast, it is not too late. Feed, and naps and bathing all at the same time each day. Bath before bed (relaxes and calms) and no bottle in the bed. Make sure your baby has no more than two naps a day (1-2 hrs each). Make sure the first nap is at around 11-12 after lunch and last one at about 3-4 pm. Then bedtime can be anywhere from 7-8 pm. All these times can be moved to fit your schedule. Dont let the baby have little cat naps at least four hours before bed. But please try a strict schedule at this age just to get the baby a full nights sleep. Later it can be adjusted at about 2 yrs old. Also one of those noise machines in the babys room (away from baby) helps tons. Relaxing sounds like birds, waterfalls etc. Also your baby may still need coddling (wrapping baby in thin light blanket tightly) but put baby on his her back with no pillows or other blankets or toys in crib. Toys in crib is bad as babies are aware of it even when alseep. It is stimulation. Good Luck

Look up Fibromyalgia. at fmnetnews on line. Sounds very likely.
Also restless leg syndrome, sleep apnea, insomnia, all of which are unfortunately very common with Fibro.
Wishing you well.

Have you got a lot of electrical appliances in your bedroom or do you have a meter box on the wall near your bedroom or a pylon close to your home, any of these can affect your sleep.
Certain medicines can also stop you from sleeping sudafed is one.
