Help with linux ?

knoppix,xfld and alinux i try to install all but when i insert my ce it will boot and take some time then it will come to line like this

[DR-DOS]A:\>

what do i need to do? ..itried eveything did not work all it say command not valid ..and reapt the line

[DR-DOS]A:\>.. ..what do i neeed to do please help ?

The first thing that comes to mind is that you should make sure your floppy drive is empty. It sounds like you're booting from a floppy rather than your CD, particularly if it says "DR-DOS", which is a DOS flavor I haven't seen in many years.
