I am a Native woman. I believe I understand what you are talking about. In Native communities there is definately a certain slang that is spoken. I was teaching a class on contemporary Native culture to youth and was going to teach Native slang as a component, unfortunately we never got the chance to get to that topic. Anyhow if you want a list of some Native slang, just email me. Maybe this will help your friend. My email is NatashaChandiJoseph@gmail.com. Take Care.
