It only works on medium brown-light blonde hair, otherwise it'll turn your hair orange

i don't actually know if this is just an old wives tale, but try it.. can't hurt ya. if you want highlights try sun in. its a light bleach in a bottle that you just spray on your hair before you go in the sun, and it works pretty good on light brown hair. i wouldn't try doing any home highlights or bleaching with dark hair, it could go a scary yellow colour, or even snap and break off.. best to leave it to the professionals.. good luck

Lemon juice works, but if your going to do highlights you need to put it on strands of hair instead of your entire head. It works for every hair type.

yes, it works. but it makes your hair very very dry. not sure if it works on non-caucasian hair. i do think the lighter the hair, the more likely it will work.

IT works, but be warned, it will damage your hair. If you're trying it out, remember sunscreen
