I have a 11 month old daughter. I dont really have any friends and nethier does my daughter. So how do u meet other moms with kids around the same age group? I want my daughter to have some socializing with other kids. And that way I might meet some friends too.

my local hospital had a mommy and me group we attending until my little one was almost 2yrs old. although there was a lot of people there I only held on to one friendship. Church is another great way to get her involved in socializing. They have nurseries appropriate for their age and activities for them as well. And finally my work place was another great place. I have this one gal who is a very dear friend of mine and our little boys are just 1 month apart. we get them together on play dates all the time. If you check on line you might be able to find a Mom's Club in your area. I know they are really big here in CA. I have two friends who attend those weekly and love them. I have never gone as I am too busy but my little guy has older siblings to cling all over. Don't forget about your local park. if you go on a regular basis you will also find others that go and you can strike up a friendship in no time for both you and your little one. and don't forget about daycare..tons of kids there to play with and lots of people to meet when picking up or dropping off little ones.

Check your local library and your local grocery store. My sister joined 2 of them and those were her sources. Good luck...you need to go pull your hair out with other moms going through the same thing.

check out the local pre school, some gyms provide kindy gym for kids or try your local family services centre
