personally wouldnt touch either of them too much like hard work, if you want a holiday the kids can really enjoy try Centreparks they have some amazing sites and with the big pools you never get stuck inside with nothing to do.
There are other holiday parks much better than Butlins or Haven, they have had so much bad publicity lately for being dirty, shabby, bad food drove past the Skegness one could not beleive how depressing it looked more like a prison on a beach. Shame because Skegness is a bril place, 100% better than Blackpool that is a dump.
Have a good look round your travel agent for ideas or a hunt on the internet.

Butlins at Skegness it has everything and all free lots to do and see, just pop on the bus and visit Skegness it's self

Both are good. More activities at Butlins though. All free!!!

skegness is good. also the resort itself and not far away you have mablethorpe, cleethorpes, both nice little places. depending on the age of your children there are may place nearby for a visit, such as york, or lincoln. but if you are staying in the park, then minehead is the biggest.

for me it was butlins coz never been to haven but i think they both have their plus points but butlins is cheaper

If you can mange it go to CenterParcs it's fabulous - if not Butlins Minehead is very good.
