This came up during my Valentine question...
My crush and I were being teased by another girl at work. She said she was his Valentine. I said something to him. He said..."But you are my Valentine!" to me. I thought it was super sweet. Somebody on yahoo said "He's GAY!"
Why would ppl say such things?

Because they are probably insecure guys that have nobody because they don't do thoughtful things like this for women. As a result, they are jealous of your crush. They wish that they were that attractive to a woman. Your crush sounds like a good one, don't lose him.
BTW, I am a man.

Because they are sad little muppets who have nothing better to do than write stupid comments.
Personally I think that's quite sweet :)
Oh, and these people may be the kind of people that hang around all day doing nothing then going to someone's party and getting off with 7 different people so they wouldn't know what sweet is. Ignore them. He sounds like a nice guy :)

Because now days people tend to think if a guy does something sweet then he is a sissy or less of a man or a sucker or gay because he is trying to make a girl happy.

GAY is like aa new bad expression. I would do something about it. I have been called gay for over 3 years and no one has allowed me to do anything about it. I offer you the best of luck trying to fight it. it really hurts.

because in real life their cowards and online is the only time they can take out their frustrations of being so inadiquate so they come on here and be mean to people who have done nothing to them so the moral of my story whoever said it was a dorky loser who gets picked on him self so he cam on here trying to be the big s**t

because people think its a funny and amusing thing to say, i say it, but when i do it provokes a smile or laugh, correct! it's just something quick and short to say. because we don't really care.
