i feel i been through alot these past 5 years, im not the type to talk about my problems to anyone not even my friends. But for the past couple of months i think its all getting to me. Out of no where during the day i will feel like breaking down and crying, i feel very alone, i barely eat, i sleep alot, and never go out only if its to work. I cant stand feeling this way, a part of me feels to just suck it up cause everyone has problems, but im just not sure what to do.

Hello!
I understand what you mean. Being moody can last for a short while, and when you find or do something that makes you feel better, your mood will improve for the better. Depression is something that can be diagnosed by your symptoms. Granted, I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist, but I have been seeing those two types of doctors. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and am taking medication for it. Depression is something that affects your entire well being. From what you said about how you've been feeling, it seems as though you might be depressed. Like I said, I'm not a doctor but I've been through the same things. One of the best ways to temporarily handle it is to write in a journal. If you don't like to write, get up some courage and talk to someone. You can feel better....you just have to WANT to.

:-) I hope this helps a little....

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.

Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

you need to seek help. I went through this as well, and once I began getting help things improved TREMENDOUSLY. It sounds like you're in denial...clinical depression is defined as feeling depressed for more than 2 weeks in a row, which seems to be your case. you definitely need to seek help. start with your primary care physician and go from there.

Sadness doesn't interfere with daily life. A change in appetite is one of the most common symptoms of depression, as is lack of energy.

If this is accompanied by thoughts of suicide, and this continues it's depression. Please seek out help. However, depression can sometimes not have thoughts of suicide as well so it's hard to say. I still think you need to seek help.
