When a Smurf is choking it turns Several colors depending on how long it is choked.. the following website said so lol

Well I found some stuff, but it's pretty mean. And being a smurf fan, I couldn't see them like that. If you search easy enough, trust me you'll find it. But if your like a kid then, parental advisory is advised!
Anyway if a smurf is choking, he would still be purple cause he caught the "Ganap" vibe from the purple fly. You gotta see it..Papa Smurf tryna get all mad and stuff!

Hi Shadow, The little blue persons only choke on wild green onions. I thing it's because they have breath life a dieing skunk and that taste chokes the hell out of them. They turn a beautiful green blue LOL The little farts anyway.. A Friend.

erm. because
the...smurf..population is all inbred (have you noticed there's only one stinking smurfette? o_o)
so the original assumption would be that they would turn purple, but due to inbred genes, they happen to lack the blood cell pigment that makes them turn red/purple when choking..and they have an excess of the green cell snytosphis that makes them turn a violent shade of green when they choke on smurf berries of whatever the smurf they eat.

It turns a macaroni yellow, then starts glowing a nuclear green. Once it is relieved of choking, it glows a blush color, followed by it's classic blue. Unfortunately, this effects the colors that come out of him in the bathroom. It's like a rainbow in the toilet!
