i don't think i ever seen people clap after a movie
i seen it done once (and I used to fly allot) after a short flight..but buddy and I looked at each other and said "what the hell was that all about"? I think it was a bunch of people on a tour.
but in our church we clap at the end of the service. especially if there is a lot of good entrainment..singers, musicians, movies. we have fun in our church...but don't eat the Hog Dog Soup the Pastor serves as I got food poisoning from it..his son tried to warn me but i was a fool and ate some anyway..i almost died from food poisoning

Church is more of a reinterpretation of what people already know (the Bible is the same, but the priest/preacher/whatever is offering it back to you.)

Movies, on the other end, are completely original, new material, and seeing someone take a vision and go through the work to turn it into a well-made, high-quality work is encouraging. (I'm using these particular adjectives because if you're clapping, it's probably a good movie.)

Because most of the sheep are forced to go there from an early age, and don't think about why they actually go there - otherwise they'd stop going like I did.

Clapping is a ritual performed after end of a movie. Ritual at church may be different.

When a ritual is performed regularly. Mind gets adapted to it and Its absense sometimes annoys mind.

If you understand what christ said and truely understand it You will never go to that chruch. You will see the lies they tell. Come on we are all fairly smart people do not belive a preacher that tells you he is from god and then turns around annd ask you to do something christ did NOT agree with.

Because the mass isn't entertainment and doesn't need to be applauded.
