The bite becomes very inflamed and keeps swelling/spreading until I take antibiotics.

Is there anything I can do other than covering up and using mosquito repellant? Or is there something I can do to get rid of this allergy?

Perhaps you should go to an allergy specialist. My cousin was very allergic to mosquito bites, they would make her vomit repeatedly. She went to an allergist and now she is fine.

Use a good mosquito-net. Use some pesticides to which you are, yourself, non-allergic. Or, get hold of a professional pest-control team and get permanent relief. This last option is the best, but it is somewhat expensive and also has to be repeated at regular intervals.

Antibiotics don't help allergic reactions... who told you that... all mosquito bites manifest as allergic reactions. stop scratching them.. the antibiotics are for infection that you caused scrathing...
