I think he was saying to force a belief or do things because everyone else does is not good- We must all find our way- He was quoted(Eienstien) many times in the book The Secret- as well as the DVD- Very interesting man.... I have new found respect for him-

We must be happy and unwavering in our faithfulness to be bitter is not natural-

We were given free will. But if God said to me to be Faithful,
I would not see this as bitter fruit but more as a Blessed Fruit
of his love. If I were to reject then that would be bitter !

Smarty: Anything forced is "bitter" for its adherents, whether it be faithfulness, the lack thereof, or enslavement to any concept - true or otherwise.

it means if for instance, a child's parents force them to believe in a certain belief, and Evan though they question it, still force them to believe it. Doing that is bad for both the "pusher"(parents) and the "receiver" (the child)
