Before I had my baby 18 months ago I would only have my period about avery 3 or 4 months. For about 6 or 7 months after I had her I was as regular as clockwork. Now I'm back to about every 3 months. It didnt worry me when I was younger because doctors just said it was normal because I was young and I'd eventually start getting a regular period. Being on the pill helps but I dont want to do that right now because me and my husband want to start trying for another baby sometime in the near future. Should this be something to worry about? And will it make trying to conceive again more difficult?

I think you should talk to your dr more about this, but I think it should be fine. It could be stress. I had a hard time conceiving with my 3rd baby due to stress. I'd really ask your dr.

Good luck and take care.

i do not think there is anything seriously wrong with you but having irregular periods will just make it a little harder to fall pregnant, maybe you should have a word with your Dr for some advice

It could be a number of things. It may make it harder to get pregnant so you should talk to your doctor. Breast feeding will also affect it.
