I can do it within a few minutes! I can certainly do it by the third date. There are a lot of clues, but the main thing is whether a man is trustworthy and interesting.

If by the third date you are already wondering if hes worth pursuing then hes probably not. But ask yourself why are you asking this question... is it because of previous experiences? Or is it because of him? Well, whatever answer you come up with will help you decide what to do next. I personally do not think it takes years to figure out if someone is worth your time, but time may tell you otherwise.
