Today's generation is conditioned to think according to a set of politically correct rules as to not offend anyone. If you say what is really on your mind, you offend a group of people even if your heart is not trying to offend that group.
Political correctness is just censorship of thought by impeding free speech.

We need role models/ precedents in any aspect of our Life- so is the case with Honesty & Frankness - In the past few decades where have we found the time to look at or rather look into ourselves - What we sow we reap! Where we've opted for shortcuts unscrupulous methods for accelerated growth in anything we want to do - we have set a trend & developed an atmosphere which is not conducive for the forthcoming generations to adhere to moral values. Lets learn to practice what we preach - Better late than Nver

Who says it is difficult? You have to have patience for the outcome. Honesty- there is no alternative, Dont leave it but live for it. Frankness- here you have to be selective to achieve a Win-Win result, yes it is very difficult. But make all effort to make it a practice. You will love to be successful nearing to 100% one day. Being a 56 year old Indian the above are my motto of life and I love to be. So far I have not felt it to be difficult though at times I have experienced to be not totally frank and/or honest. I am lucky to have corrected myself. So it is difficult but achievable to survive. If the ASKER wants I will love to share my experience.

Frankness and honesty can survive in my opinion .The person who is frank can be honest . I feel that people who possess both are sucessfull in every field whether personal or professional. so don't burden your mind with such a feeling be frank as a frank person don't have a back biting feeling. In honesty there is a positive attitude and same is the frankness . so fly high, treat every one with frankness even those who are rude to you not because they are nice but because you are nice and honest.

Because people have chosen to spread gossip about the issue of dishonesty. Also there are those that have a sick need to fix or help people so much so they will create, suggest, or manipulate a person to lie to themselves and to break down self-esteem to succeed in controlling the individual. If people are honest with themselves they won't have to deal with enablers.
Some have allowed themselves to become convinced that honesty is abusive which is very manipulative but if your buying it they'll sell it to ya. It's really too bad people choose to ignore the fact that it's a rumor that only results in generating funds in the secular business sector and obviously self-destructive.
Honesty is not difficult unless you have no respect for yourself or others and only if you choose to make it difficult.

Hello everyone of us had forget that what is truth,forgiveness,frankness,honesty all about.Strictly speaking we knew these facts but never implement in our day to day life.Those few who do it always find some trouble at first and satisfaction/peace after sometime.

So many people seem to be unable to be straight and honest with you|
When they talk to you, they put across that they are being honest, but they are merely telling you what they want you to hear for some purpose of their own|
Or they would befriend you and pretend that they are interested in the same issues as you are, but are only doing so to bring you into their confidence to extract information from you to use against you in some way|
Or when they talk, there is one meaning on the surface, but a contrary meaning being communicated in code to another|
Such are deceivers, liars, and frauds|

my 17 year old daughter was reprimanded by her bf, me,and her teachers today for being TOO frank and honest. Imagine that!

Exposure of virtual happiness. People today think happines is in luxeries so that they wont try to understand real and true heart peoples. money makes difference
