I don't know that you can truly recover from the loss of any child. I could tell you that everything happens for a reason and we all have a time and place in this life but I don't think that puts the loss of a child in perspective. It's sad when someone so young dies and out-living them hurts. I will say that, there is no way any of us can know when someones time will come...if we did we would treat each other better and live life to the fullest. Loss is part of life and we can't blame ourselves but we can choose to continue living the best way we can. Just be the best person you can now that you have witnessed how short life can be for those you love and do it in memory of your nephew. There is counseling available for you if you need it and if you do, seek it.
I am so sorry for your families loss and wish you and your family all the strength you need to carry on in this life.

I lost 2 sisters long ago, there is no easy way to feel over a lost of someone, it will someone you can remember , you will feel sad and having alot of doubts about the "what could happend if I was there",
Remember for some how death gets is precence when people you love, to know there are right now resting in peace , is the best way that you have to accept that you must go on , seeing a therapist will help tooo

Time is a great healer and all of us have to overcome grief and loss of dear ones. It happens to each living being on the planet including animals, birds, insects too! We must mourn and miss our losses but face death, when it is coming to us, ourselves, as, as great a gift of GOD as LIFE granted by HIM. In-fact, at least in our own death we should expect people to celebrate our departure than feel sad about it !!

Just try to remember the good times you had with him and that he is in a better place. It is hard to do so when grieving but it is the truth. We are supposed to cry when one is born and be happy when they leave. You know he is in a better place.
