It depends. If you want to live in Seoul,
the small size, rural area of seoul -it costs like from 110,000 to260,000.u.s dollar
the small size, central area of seoul- 260.000 to 360,000 us dollar

medium size- at least 300,000 u.s dollars everywhere.
medium size in central area- at least 450,000

large size apartment rural area- 300,000~500,000
large size in centeral area of Seoul- 700,000 to 2~7million bucks.

steve C is right...except that that is to RENT a place, not own it!! You'd have to pay a LOT to own a place. This is a clip from a recent article in the Seoul Times (link below).

I think of myself as "above" the shitline when it comes to my bank account and last month I got a nice apt, 2 bed room/bath/living/kitchen for 80 million won(ruffly $85-87,000) just inback of Seoul Tower. The place is MINE for 2 years, then I get the cash back :D !
