Hello everyone ..i am a single mother of a 13 yr. old boy..the other day my son had his friend spend the night my son is an early bird and woke up early so i started to make breakfast and when i went to wake up his friend i was shocked to walk in on him...masturbating. he looked shocked (almost as much as me lol) i quickly shut the door and safely avoided him most of the day...has this happened to any other mothers? is it common?

Kids that age, I am afraid so. His judgement leaves alot to be desired, however. I wouldn't confront him on this, perhaps you might want to ask your son about his friend.

Oh that poor kid! What were you doing walking into the bedroom when a strange teenage boy was sleeping there? Even if you thought he was asleep you should have knocked. How would you like it if he walked in on you when you were naked?

BTW.. you should be giving your son the same courtesy..he's not a baby any more!

Boys that age are just reaching the beginning of their sexual peak (which ends in their early 20's) it's normal, say nothing. Poor kid is horrified.
