I like it pronounced Layla and spelt Leila. I think both names are great. Leila is feminine but strong and Julian is masculine obviously and is a strong name which can be used when they are adults. He could be called Jules when he's younger. Well done.

Leila is an old Clapton song. Julian is the little "piece of work" who was in the class that I student taught in and occasionally turns up in a class that I substitute teach in. See, every time they try to evaluate this kid for special needs, his parents move him to another school. Bad vibes from it....

I had Leila chosen but didn't match our surname, it is a beautiful name though. Also had Leilani and Lainie.
Not a fan of Julian for boys or girls. Julie-ann?

Eh, Julian sounds like a guy. Blech. Leila is pretty, but she might haveto correct people saying it as Lee-la like the alien girl captain on Futurama. But it's still pretty.
