NEVER think that you MUST attend church to believe in GOD. For NO WHERE is it written that you must attend. It is nothing more than a gathering place.

Most churches lead you down the wrong path for you have 1 man leading many. Do your own research, your own reading. You'll get so much more from it.

I do not attend church, I am not a member of any church, I do nothing with any religious organization. But I am a 100% soldier of YAHWEH, the LORDs real name. Like that...church won't teach you what his real name is. For the church is who took his name out of the bible back in 1929/1930 and replaced it with GOD, LORD.

His real name is YAHWEH, YHWH. Give him respect and call him by his real name.

Welcome to the light!!

Why on earth would you want to be "religious"? Ya know what? You will get sooo much more, out of getting comfy on the couch, with your favorite beverage and opening up the Bible and reading it for yourself! God's word is for you! You dont need anyone to interpret it for you, that is what is so awesome about God, He wants to have a personal relationship with you; one on one. If it's hard for you to understand, get a version that is more English friendly. Like, "The Message", it's really easy to understand. It doesn't have all the thee and ye and shall...
Pray. Ask the Lord to guide you. He will. He knows you are seeking Him, all you have to do is talk to Him. He says in His word, that those that seek Him, will find Him. And that all we have to do is ask Him, and believe. Just say a prayer, ask Him to speak to you through His word, then take a leap of faith, and flip through those pages, and read where He stops ya...P.s. He'll also lead you to fellowship with the ones He has in store for you. But first He needs you to Himself, so you can know He is your teacher...

Take a cushion or find a church with soft chairs--try evening meetings instead and look for a place that really has God's holy spirit and you will learn so much that the time will fly by. You don't want God to say about you, "I wanted to save her but..."

you dont have to go to church to believe in a higher power. to claim that you are (ie) catholic, then ya you might want to go to church.

and you know you really only need to go once a week. and there are many times that you can go. you dont have to go at the crack of dawn or something. at the church i used to go to they used to have mass until 5:00PM.... and thats not bad.
if you are interested in going to church you should go to your local one and find out what time masses are.

The ironic thing is that churches that are 'fun' or 'cool' or 'hip' are even worse.

THINK about the pros and cons of being part of a theistic religious mass that relies on faith (i.e., no evidence) then get back to us.
