Yes. Along with all other kinds of sexual immorality, sex before marriage / premarital sex is repeatedly condemned in Scripture (Acts 15:20; Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13,18; 7:2; 10:8; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Jude 7). The Bible promotes abstinence before marriage. Sex before marriage is just as wrong as adultery and other forms of sexual immorality, because they all involve having sex with someone you are not married to. Sex between a husband and his wife is the only form of sexual relations that God approves of (Hebrews 13:4).

Well what is sin? You have to ask that question first. Then you have to rephrase the question once you know what sin is. As a Christian I can tell you that if you have sex before marriage it will cost you dearly. You see, we have consequences for our actions in life. That's life. How much are you willing to pay for that sex? And in what ways? Especially since we don't always know how or where or when we pay consequences for actions. Why do you ask the question anyway?

Peace be with you, and the truth shall make you free.
It is a sin to take a vow of marriage.
And they where marrying and being given in marriage and knew not until the flood took them all away. You do err, for their are no marriages in heaven.
I see a lot of "Christians" follow not the words espoused by Jesus Christ on this matter.
Jesus only reference to fornication was "except saving for the cause of fornication" if one is married they can only commit adultery. And the words of Jesus the next passage clarifies the actual sin pertaining to marriage.
It is forswearing thyself, the taking of oaths.
Jesus said "what God has joined together"
Jesus did not say; what man has joined together, because he forbade us to take oaths.

Yes and no. I wish I had the passage and I am not sure if I was in New or Old Testament. But I thought I read..." I man shall not sleep with a woman prior to marriage. If he does sleep with a woman prior, he has 30 days to marry that woman otherwise it is a sin. "
Don't quote me on that. And if anyone know more of what I am saying or the passage, please share.
Otherwise its pretty much no, you shouldn't. For the first one you have sex with you have a very special bond with, for life. That is why this is the perfect one to marry. That bond gets you through the tough times in life together.
I had sex prior to marriage, but follow his word now. Refrained from it since. But even after 20 yrs....I still am in contact with my "first". We still chat and keep in contact. Just a bond there that only happens when that gift is shared, and shared for the first time.

Yes, it is called fornication in the Bible.
Marriage is the life time commitment and union between 1 man and1 woman, blessed by God. Sex was invented by God for oneness, love, enjoyment and for the purpose of reproduction in marriage.

yes, even with yourself. Lust is one of the seven deadly sins. Lack of self control, especially since sex outside of marriage is more for just fun than it is for reproduction as nature and nature's God intended.

Yes. It is called fornication. God created sex for marriage. So, if you are guilty of this ( as many of us are) it behooves you to repent and turn from your sin.
